Deborah A. Monolo
Deborah
A. Monolo is the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Registrar.
She oversees academic records, student accounts and information
systems for data management and directs the service functions of
academic and clinical scheduling, registration, licensure certification
and degree processing for all School of Medicine programs. She also
serves on the committee on admissions and chairs the central subcommittee
which reviews and processes applications for admission to the School
of Medicine for students from the twelve state midwest region.
Ms. Monolo joined Washington University in 1973 at the School of
Dental Medicine. She served as registrar, financial aid officer
and as a member of the admissions committee for students with advanced
standing at the School of Dental Medicine until it closed in 1991.
That same year, she joined the School of Medicine staff as associate
registrar and director of the School of Dental Medicine academic
records.
Ms. Monolo is active in the American Association of Collegiate
Registrars and Admissions Officers and was elected to honorary membership
in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, in
recognition of her contributions to the School of Dental Medicine.
