Parag Parikh, M.D.

Dr. Parag Parikh is an Instructor in Radiation Oncology. He earned his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. He remained at Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital to complete residency training in radiation oncology, and subsequently joined the faculty at WUSM in his current position.

Dr. Parikh has received many academic awards including the ASTRO Resident Clinical Basic Science Research Award, Roentgen Resident Research Award, Richard Maxwell Memorial Award, and election into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. Dr. Parikh’s areas of clinical interest include gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancer. His research interests involve technology development in radiation oncology, including advanced respiratory motion imaging and fiducial-guided tumor tracking.
