Lee Ratner, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Ratner holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from Harvard University , M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University . He trained in Internal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine and completed medical oncology training at the National Cancer Institute. He joined Washington University in 1985. He is currently Professor of Medicine, Pathology, and Molecular Microbiology, Director of Molecular Oncology, and Director of the Cancer Biology Training Program at the Siteman Cancer Center at Washington University School of Medicine. His clinical research focuses on the treatment of human retrovirus-associated malignancies.
Dr. Ratner has received the American Federation for Clinical Research Trainee Award and American Society for Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award amongst other honors and awards. His clinical interests are HIV, AIDS, human immunodeficiency virus, hematology, oncology, AIDS-related malignancies. A dedicated and productive investigator, Dr. Ratner has authored over 175 articles, chapters, and abstracts.
