Gerald Wool, M.D.

A native of St. Louis , Dr. Wool earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Princeton University and Doctor of Medicine degree from Washington University . He is Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and has been a practicing pediatrician for 35 years. He holds membership in numerous professional organizations including American Academy of Pediatrics, Washington University School of Medicine Alumni AOA , American Medical Association and Missouri State Medical Association to name only a few. He has served on many hospital committees including Sex Abuse/Child Abuse Committee, Emergency Room Committee, Medical Ethics Committee, Executive Committee for St. Louis Children's Hospital, and Washington University Alumni Council. Dr. Wool is a dedicated teacher having taught residents, medical students, and pediatric nurses. He is very interested and active in the community via local schools, politics, and was a volunteer physician for a free clinic. He is also an advocate for personal physical fitness having run thirteen marathons.
